The SPS730 and SPS930 use the Trimble DR Standard long-range reflectorless EDM technology for single-shot measurements and operate with a TSC controller or Trimble tablet running the SCS900 Site Controller software. SPS universal total stations are available in two models, depending on the level of functionality needed (unique performance specifications detailed on datasheet). Both models can be used in a variety of scenarios/applications, including at smaller sites or paired with GNSS on larger sites; for layout of structures, foundations, piles and caissons; for reflectorless measurement of stockpiles, rock faces, cuttings and structures; for tasks where accuracy requirements are very tight; for measuring inaccessible or dangerous locations; and for high precision machine control and guidance.
