The mdTector1000CH4 solution is a versatile and fully integrated aerial methane inspection package that provides professionals responsible for inspecting methane gas infrastructure with the aircraft, payload, software and support they need. Whether your gas infrastructure is in a hard to reach riverbed or near a steep cliff… the tough, carbon-fiber built UAV will easily navigate terrain that would be difficult, dirty or dangerous by traditional foot crews. This solution consists of a Pergam gas sensor, mounted and integrated perfectly with a Microdrones md4-1000 UAV. It also has an onboard HD video link, meaning that you can see in real-time what you are detecting with the laser sensor. The UAV is operated in the field using professional controls and telemetry, in conjunction with mdCockpit tablet software that allows you to plan your survey area and monitor flight progress and potential gas leaks at the swipe of a finger. After flight, the mdTector Android app can then be used to graphically visualise and present all exported data on one convenient map, with data including LMm readings and GNSS position. Thus the mdTector1000CH4 package is an efficient and high performance gas detection solution, perfect for an array of applications, including natural gas line surveys, gas well testing, plant safety, landfill emission monitoring and tank inspections.
